Farewell of 2015 Batch Student Guides

The farewell of 2015 batch student guides were taken on 17th march 2019 at BHOJANPUR, GANDHI NAGAR, MAIN ROAD, BERHAMPUR. It was hard to say goodbye to them but it was their time to move on from the B.tech life. The farewell was handled by all junior guides with very beautiful management. The event was also blessed to have the presence of our student counsellor Mrs Nayanika maam. It was really a nice memorable day for all of us. Thank you NCS for creating lots of impact in our life.

Diganta Visit

Diganta residential school is just like a home for many students who have no one and not even having roof over their head to live. This school provides them every single facility such as shelter to live, food to eat, classroom to learn, and obviously a good management system as their family, who always work hard and effortlessly to provide them best of what they can. There are lot many things which I saw there and I am pretty much sure that I can’t even express those emotions and love in my own words here.

This picture represents their eternal love towards DIGANTA, formed by the students of DIGANTA and they all voluntarily came up and help us forming this. We only told them to form these alphabets and they know very well how to stand and were to stand we didn’t even put much of our efforts in forming this. They might seem to be too much young to present something to someone but they all put their effort to stand like this to present a small gift to our Director Professor Sangram Mudali Sir from the family of  DIGANTA Residential School. Each word of DIGANTA depicts a message:

D – Diversity (No one discriminates others on basis of caste, gender, community etc)

I – Integrity (They are taught in such a manner that they always represent the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles)

G – Giant (They all have giant heart’s)

A – Affection (They all have a gentle feeling of fondness and liking others)

N – Nurture (Caring as well as protecting others)

T – Team (They all came together to achieve a common goal)

A – Anxious (Always eager to learn new things because they don’t know what is rest)

The love Symbolizes every bonding of relationship among the students and teachers. The faculties are taking care of the students as they all were their own children. NIST counselling service visited their just to give a kick start as they all know everything, the only thing they needed is a correct path which leads to success. And until and unless the students of DIGANTA won’t find that path our service will help them finding that. And a special thanx to the principle of DIGANTA who didn’t even make us feel that we are away from our homes. They all take care of us amazingly.

"Chetana" - A place to learn the meaning of LIFE

We all are familiar with a word called 'HUMANITY', but only a few of us know the real meaning. Some people say, showing kindness to poor people is humanity, some say earning money in a right way is called humanity but no one is accurate because the real meaning is very much beyond our imagination. One day I started to search the real world where real humans exist, where human emotions are not being sold. And chetana was the place, a place where every individual reflects the real humanity. Maybe they are not like us but each of them is blessing of God. Yes, the situation they are facing is not what they deserve but we people are so much busy in our own schedule that we can't even think of making them comfortable in their living. The only difference between us and them is the greed for goods. We all are so much obsessed with goods and artificial livings that we have started to forget people even in our surroundings. But a session from our "not so important but busy" schedule can bring a big curve of happiness in their face. Maybe these children are mentally challenged but the toughness of the challenge can be reduced by little bit care and nourishment from our side. The only thing they need is the support, they always search for someone to stand by their side and give a smile in every step they put forward. Previously I was also among the crowd who don't even care about people but then I visited chetana and spent with them I realize how much tough someone's life could be. We can't even imagine a day without our parent but these children are even neglected by their parents. Ya, I entered the school being a human but I came out with the real meaning of humanity which lies within that environment. The day I visited Chetana I learned one thing which I will sustain within me throughout my life i.e., "Money can't buy everything but a smiling face can win every happiness of this world". And to learn humanity first learn to be a human, Be greedy to earn love for others instead of artificial happiness.

Outreach Program to K.V. Berhampur-05 July 2017 | Nist Counselling Service

Time and tide waits for none. Understudies of classes 11th and 12th experience a considerable measure of difficulties in planning for their career. Absence of appropriate guidance and inspiration, the majority of them begin making a few bargains with their aspirations. We a group of 7 Student Guides (Anmol, Parth, Pratyusha, Sarita, Abhijeet, Atul and Rahul) along with our student counselor Dr. Rita Bhattacharjee visited K.V. Berhampur on 5th July for an outreach program.

Returning back to a nearly familiar environment that made us recall our days at school, we broadened our hands to the on edge high schoolers sharing our encounters to life helping them comprehend the difficulties ahead and discover the available career opportunities. It was itself self-rousing listening to these young minds about their plans for life and enlightening them the paths that can help them achieve it. Some wanted to be Engineers, a few Doctors yet never less many of them wanted to rather choose to be lawyers, journalists, event organisers, fashion designers, pilots, and significantly more in their life. To give anything less than your best is to sacrifice the gift in you. It is better to live the dream then to leave it.

It wasn’t just an opportunity to help and counsel our younger brothers and sisters, but was also a chance to re-believe in our motive. It’s time to risen up and turn our dreams to reality, accomplish our goals challenging all hurdles in life and believing in our capabilities. Thanks organisers for believing in us and the all members of our NCS family for being united.
